Ellen Jane Gibson

Ellen Jane Gibson, 88, of Templeton, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at ACMH Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 30, 1929, in Templeton, to the late Wilbur and Mrytle (Householder) Robinson.

She was a lifelong resident of Templeton. Mrs. Gibson was a member of Faith Cathedral and was a homemaker, who loved to cook and bake.

Ellen leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Kathryn M. Gibson of Templeton and Sandra J. (Harry) Neithercoat of Kittanning; and her extended family, Robert and Sandra Raymer of Templeton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Gibson, whom she married Oct. 29, 1949, and who died on Jan. 28, 1984; brothers, Roy, Walter, Samuel, and Victor Robinson; and sisters, Blanche Beabout, Pauline Divins, and Helen Robinson.

Family and friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Faith Cathedral, 149 Rau Road, Kittanning, with Pastor Alfred Reedy officiating. Burial will follow in Rural Valley Cemetery.
