Frances J. Bowley, 93, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility. Born May 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Kerenick. She formerly worked for Pittsburg & Shawmut, as well as a secretary at St. Mary’s School. Frances was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Kittanning, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She volunteered at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital and Divine Redeemer School. She liked sports, especially tennis, golf, and bowling.
Left behind to cherish her memory includes her son, Scott Bowley and wife, Mary, of Woodbury, Minn.; grandson, Steven Bowley, of Woodbury, Minn.; grandson, Anthony Pelliccione; granddaughters, Valerie and Angela Pelliccione; and son-in-law, David Pelliccione. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Bowley; daughter, Patty Pelliccione; brothers, Nick and Frank Kerenick; sisters, Louise McGarvey, Libby Duncan, Anne Fox, Mary Bridges, and Rose Sanders.
Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Parting Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Douglas E. Dorula officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
