Gerald A. Cunningham,78, of McGrann, died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, in ACMH Hospital.
He was born July 13, 1940, in Kittanning, to the late Arthur and Margaret (Hollen) Cunningham.
Gerald graduated from Kittanning High School Class of 1958 and then was the parts manager at Noel Ford in Kittanning, for 42 years.
He attended First Baptist Church of Ford City, and was an U.S. Army veteran.
Gerald enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting, playing on his iPad, and watching the grandkids and spending time with his family. He was an assistant coach for the Ford City High School softball and tennis teams. He also was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
Gerald leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Diana Lyn “Dee” Cunningham; son, Robert (Sue) Cunningham; daughters, Pam (William) Crownover and Amy (Tim) Ortman; grandchildren, Sarah Cunningham, Eric (Martina) Cunningham, Steven Cunningham, Brandon Crownover, and Jocelyn Schrecengost; sister, Carol Trumbull; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Fred Cunningham; and father-in-law and mother in-law, Leroy and Winifred Clontz.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. Additional viewing will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, from 10 a.m. in the funeral home until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tim Kutch officiating. Burial will follow in Ford City Cemetery.
