Henry Melvin Miller, 98, of Ford Cliff died on Saturday April 21, 2018, in Our Family Home located in Ford City, Pa. He was born on Jan. 6, 1920, in Nicktown, Pa to the late Alfred and Annie (Hoffman) Miller. He did maintenance for the railroad and was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Miller attended the United Brethren Church and The First Church of God. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Bruce Eric Miller of Liberty Twp., Ohio; daughters Claudia A. Winning of Ford Cliff, and Melinda J. Miller of Summerville, S.C.; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane (Mahan) Miller on Sept 12, 1998; son Larry Melvin Miller on May 24, 2000; sister Margaret (Miller) Altemus on Jan. 17, 2017. Per Henry’s wishes there will be no viewing and private services will be held by the family. Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
