James “Bud” Earl Flick, 99, of Fenelton passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the Orchard of Concordia, Butler, Pa.
He was born November 3, 1918, in Fenelton to the late Charles E. and Lula Belle (Swigart) Flick.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from PennDOT. Bud was a member of the McKee Chapel in Fenelton and the Masonic Lodge No. 540 Argyle Lodge in Chicora. He enjoyed watching baseball and football.
James is survived by his wife, Evelyn “Beth” (Sinclair) Flick, of Butler; son, David Earl Flick, of Fenelton; daughter, Karen (William) Freeman, of Connoquenessing; sister, Phyllis (Flick) Shay; granddaughters, Christa (David) Freeman-Ruzomberka, of Pittsburgh, and Amanda Freeman of Charlotte, N.C.; and grandson, Jeffrey (Katie) Freeman, of West Chester, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Joseph Flick, Carl E. Flick, Lula May Patton, Ruth Reichart, and William D. Flick.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington, Pa.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home where there will be additional visitation, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, with Pastor Michael B. Coats officiating. Interment will be in the Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
