Jeffrey D. Reedy

On Thursday, July 5, 2018, Jeffrey D. Reedy, husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away suddenly at the age of 48 years.  Jeff will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Shana (Brandon) Roudebush and Lacy Reedy (Martin Wonderling), by his brothers Floyd [Doug] (Evie) Reedy, Randy (Mel) Reedy, Ron (Darlene) Reedy, a sister Jackie (Jim) Schall and a half-brother Marlin (Nelda) Klein.  Jeff will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Marlin and Laura (Atkinson) Reedy and brother, Timothy Reedy.

He was a graduate of Lenape Vo-Tech, and had worked most of his life in the construction industry and most recently as a PennDOT Operator.  He was an avid outdoorsman, spending his free time outside hunting and fishing.  Jeff was also a lifetime member and current Assistant Chief of the Pine Township Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Kittanning East Brady Masonic Lodge No. 244 and was a member of the Pine Creek Sportsmen Club.  Jeff faithfully attended Templeton United Methodist Church in Templeton, Pa.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 7, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  A masonic service will be held at 6:45 p.m. followed by a fireman's service at 7p.m.   A Funeral Service celebrating the memory of Jeff will be held on Sunday, July 8, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, following a Viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeff’s honor can be made to the Pine Township Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 21, Templeton, PA 16259.
