Judith P. Beers, 75, of Kittanning died on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 18, 1943 in East Brady, Pa., to the late George D. & Florence (Fair) Patch. Mrs. Beers was a nurses aide for over 20 years at the Armstrong County Health Center. She enjoyed watching T.V. and the Steelers, going to camp at Presque Isle, and, following her retirement, she loved to babysit her grandchildren.
Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years, Richard L. Beers; daughter, Madeline Beers of Ford Cliff; son, David L. (Caryl) Beers of Ford Cliff; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Kristina, and Christian; one great granddaughter, Thea; brother, Ronald (Robin) Patch of East Brady; brother, Robert Patch of Tyler, Texas; sister, Frances Johns of East Brady; sister,Deb Craig of East Brady; sister, Jane (Barry) Johns of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home Cowansville, Pa., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Additional viewing will take place in the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sue Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Fair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Judy’s name to Orphans of the Storm 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
