LaRue Davis

LaRue Davis, 90, of Licking Twp., Clarion County died on Saturday September 1, 2018 in Sugar Creek Rest.  He was born on October 3, 1927 in Clarion County to the late Garfield & Jennette (Stitt) Davis.  He retired after 36 years at Sharon Steel and he was also a U.S. Naval Veteran, serving in WWII.  Mr. Davis enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Armond Davis, Juaneitta Hoy, Olan Davis, Loleitta Goodman, Bonnie Hartzell, Leland Davis, Randy Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Arrand Davis, Norman Davis, Dianna Callender, Dianne Priester, Laura Draa, Joseph Davis, Nolan Davis, Raymond Davis, Todd Davis, Jenifer Baker, and Jeff Davis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie Hughes.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Davis; son, Garfield Davis; and two daughters, Pam Blair and Sharon Cochran.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday September 4, 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville, PA.  Interment will be at Loop Cemetery in Clarion County.
