Laura Belle (Wingard) Cloak, 93, of Sloan Hill, Mosgrove, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Kittanning Care Center. She was born April 25, 1925, in West Kittanning, to the late James B. Wingard and Alice Golden (Heckman) Wingard. Mrs. Cloak was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Pine Creek Sportsmen’s Club. She loved to travel. She was a member of West Kittanning Brethren Church, then later became a member of Sloan Hill Church. She loved being involved with her church family. She also bowled, shot archery, and hunted.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Cloak) Bailey and her husband, Edward Bailey, of Home, Pa.; son, Billy Joe Cloak and his wife, Heather (Landers) Cloak, of Dayton, Pa.; 10 grandchildren, Zachary Cloak, Tyler Cloak, Shawn Cloak, Jennifer (Cloak) West and husband, Matt West, Rebekah (Bailey) Schuring and husband, Russell Schuring, Ross Bailey and wife, Jodi (Weaver) Bailey, Michael Bailey and wife, Amy (Lewis) Bailey, Darlene (Bailey) Gray and husband, Mitchell Gray, James Bailey and wife, Wanda (Harvey) Bailey, and Landon Bailey and wife, Lauren (Rightnour) Bailey. She is also survived by 42 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Cloak, Sr.; her son, James E. Cloak, Jr.; sisters, Viola Cloak, Alene Schneider, and Gladys Clark; and brothers, James, Melvin, Nelson, and Kenneth Wingard.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mark Patz officiating. Interment will be at Mateer Cemetery.
