Lisa Kay (Stanford) Higgins

Lisa Kay (Stanford) Higgins, 72, of Worthington, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.  She was born September 24, 1947 in Kittanning to the late Edgar and Lois (Bracken) Stanford.  She worked as a mushroom picker and for Helpmates.  Lisa enjoyed going to yard sales, going out to eat, and family gatherings.  

Survivors include her husband, Richard “Dick” Higgins, of Worthington; son, Wesley Higgins (Jennifer), of Kittanning; grandson, Hunter Higgins, of Kittanning; sister, Bonnie Stanford (Merv Yount), of Ford City; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ed and Scott; and sisters, Louise Hoover and Lynn Gilbertsen.  

Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m., with Pastor Rodney Miller officiating.  Interment will be in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.
