Lois Marie Davis, 78, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Kittanning, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Fla. Lois was born on Jan. 3, 1938, in Kittanning to the late Wilbur "Ted" and Edna B. Klingensmith. Lois worked as a receptionist/ medical records clerk for MCCI (Humana) for 30 years. Prior to her move to Florida, she was an owner of Culligan Soft Water in Kittanning. She was a long-time member of Christ Rupp Lutheran Church in Kittanning Township and recently was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Wellington, Fla. Lois enjoyed doing crafts, teaching Sunday school, bowling, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Smith and Sherry (John) Kula of Royal Palm Beach; her son, William Davis of Royal Palm Beach; her grandchildren, Cory (Elizabeth) Smith of Apopka, Fla., Deven Smith, Tylor Kula, and Emily Kula of Royal Palm Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, James "Red" Davis; her brother, Frank Klingensmith; and a half brother, Earl Reddinger. There will be a family visitation Friday, May 12, 2017, from 7-9 p m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a m. at Christ Rupp Lutheran Church, 228 Rupp Church Road in Kittanning Township, where interment will follow in the Christ Rupp Lutheran Church Cemetery.
