Lucile M. (Mcllwain) Walker

Lucile M. Walker, 89, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday April 7, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 24, 1928, in Valley Township, Armstrong County, the daughter of the late Frank and Alice McIlwain.

She was a retired nurse from ACMH. She was a member and a deacon of Grace Presbyterian Church in Kittanning. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid bridge player.

She is survived by her sons David R. Walker, and his wife Laurie, of Prairieville, La., and William T. Walker, and his wife Jodi, of Kittanning, and daughter Ann W. Mathison, and husband John, of Lakeland, Fla. Grandson Brady Walker and three granddaughters Gabriella, Casey, and Rebecca. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray, brothers Eugene, Charles, and sister Marie.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, Inc., 253 N. Grant Ave. Kittanning. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday 11 a.m. with Rev. Dana Wilmont officiating. Burial will take place in Lawnhaven Burial Estates.
