Margaret P. Evans, 78, of Worthington died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Saxony Health Center.  She was born May 23, 1938, in Worthington to the late Millard Bowser and Josephine (Hodak) Voelkel.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish in Coylesville.  Peg was a nurse and she loved to read.  Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Laura Reedy; son, Edward (Lynn) Usher; four grandchildren, Chris (Maggie) McLane, Shelly Fry, Steven Usher, and Matthew (Erica) Usher; two sisters, Pat Cypher and Julie Odenweller; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Evans; two sons, Daniel and Michael Usher; and one grandson, James Reifendifer. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt McClain officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Peg’s memory to the Worthington-West Franklin Community Library, 214 E. Main St., Worthington, Pa. 16262.
