Mark Anthony Pozzuto, 65, of Kittanning, died on Monday, March 12, 2018, at home. He was born Sept. 14, 1952, in Kittanning, Pa., to the late Jack and Dorothy Pozzuto. Mark was a shipping manager with North American Steel & Wire / ISM. He was president of Butler County Outdoor Club and he also enjoyed to kayak, fishing, camping, concerts, hockey, and the LA Dodgers. Mark also loved his dogs Clifford, Chloe and Gert. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Jeff Pozzuto and wife, Laura, of Rochester, N.Y.; sister, Rosemary Kamkar of Hayward, Calif.; brother, Anthony “Max” Pozzuto of Kittanning; nephew, Sean Kamkar and wife, Abby, of Los Angeles, Calif.; greatniece, Margot June Kamkar; aunt, Betty Pozzuto of Kittanning; cousins and their families, Michael Pozzuto, Diane Bowser, Jayne Fox, Amy Burgher, and Jeff Pozzuto; and companion, Joan Van Ryn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by aunts and uncles, Genevieve Elaine Shiring, Ann Angelo, William Pozzuto, Angelo Pozzuto, and John Kacprowski. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018, in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Harvest Community Church in East Franklin, with Pastor Rodney Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Butler Outdoor Club, 134 Oak Ave., Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
