Martha May (Miller) Beck, 92, of Kittanning, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 4, 1925, in Manorville, to the late William Wilfred and Garnet May (Bowersox) Miller. Mrs. Beck was employed with Montgomery Ward, and was a folder at Big River and MTW. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Manorville. She enjoyed watching TV, spending time with family, and going to camp. Martha leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Suzan (Herman) Corbett of Kittanning and Donna (Jim) Minich of Ford City; grandchildren, Teri (Keith) Smouse, Jennifer Hika and companion Troy Caldwell, Daniel (Cindy) Shaffer, Craig Minich, and Toni (Deron) Grafton; great-grandchildren, Jordan Ford, Carli Crawford, Taylor Smouse, Josh Shaffer, Ben Shaffer, Derek Grafton, Kylie Grafton, and Jasa Grafton; and one great-great grandchild, Baylie Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. Beck; sister, Jean (Stan) Berdell; and brother, Arnold (Rachael) Miller. Martha will be laid to rest on Friday, March 23, 2018, in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, in the Grace Brethren Church, 215 Arthur St., West Kittanning, with the Rev. Larry Edwards officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Snyder Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. 16201 to help offset expenses.
