Martha A. “Sam” (Fox) Jack, 86, of Adrian, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at ACMH Hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Walkchalk, the daughter of the late James A. and Martha (Hooks) Fox. She married Thomas M. Jack on Nov. 19, 1949. They celebrated 55 years of marriage before his death on April 10, 2005. She was blessed to have a wonderful life and family. She had a special love for all. She is survived by four children, Tommy (Sherrie) Jack, of Kittanning, Robin (Ben) Hornberger, of Adrian, Tim (Crystal) Jack, of Adrian, and Jody (Tracy) Jack, of Bradys Bend; nine grandchildren, Amy Religa, Bradley Johns, Christine Heeter, Heidi Kaufman, Brent Jack, Janae Jack, Derek Jack, Andrew Jack, and Jessi Jack; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Jimmie (Mary Ellen) Fox, of Ford City; sisters, Vivian Johns, of Cowansville, and Carmen Boyer, of Ford City; many nieces and nephews; special cousin, Judy Hooks; and favorite nephews, Jim and Ron Jack. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Fox; sister, Jo- Ann Lettrich; son-in-law, Jerry Johns; and aunt and uncle, Kate and Blair Hooks. Per Martha’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and a private burial in Limestone Cemetery in Adrian. Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville.
