Marty Roy Wolfe, 57, of Kittanning, died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at his home. He was born July 5, 1960, in Kittanning, to the late Jake and Helen (Kaufman) Wolfe and grew up in Adrian. He graduated from East Brady High School, where Marty claimed to be the only person to do the “iron cross,” something he was proud of. He was a laborer with Local Union 952, primarily working out of R & L Development and Keystone Power Plant. He was a very proud union member. He belonged to the Kittanning Eagles. Marty loved the outdoors. He liked to hunt and fish. He enjoyed taking buggy rides with his wife on the weekends and he liked going to camp. He was also a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Survivors include his wife, Deb Wolfe; daughters, Jodie (Steve) Cousins, Jessica (Lee) Hamilton, and Tricia Snyder; step-children, Dave Ridinger, Dougie McAninch, Weanetta McAninch, and Wendy (Cody) McConnell; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Ron (Teri) Wolfe, Jake (Kass) Wolfe, Jim (Linda) Wolfe, Bob (Pat) Wolfe, and Connie (Jim) Crawford; brother-in-law, Rick Swaney; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kass Swaney. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Paul DeBacco officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
