Mervin A. Myers

Mervin A. Myers, 80, of Worthington, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, at Sugar Creek Rest.

He was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Kittanning, to the late Mervin E. and Katherine Myers.

He worked many different jobs. He did a train whistle, and he loved to yodel. He also loved dancing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Celia Myers; sons, LeRoy (Carol) Myers, Rick (Robin) Myers, Barry Myers, Bobby (Lori) Myers, and Adam (Vicki) Myers; daughters, Brenda Black and Joy (Matt) Bowser; sister, Linda Myers; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Allen E. Myers; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, at 119 Bear St. in Worthington.

Additional visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Richard Molgaard officiating.

Burial will follow in Kittanning Cemetery.
