Michael Anthony

Michael Boyd Anthony, 60, of Worthington, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at home due to health complications. He was born Nov. 21, 1957, in Kittanning, to the late James R. and Virginia (Pauline) Anthony. Michael was a lifelong resident of Worthington, and worked in the meat department at Giant Eagle. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his brother, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, having fun, telling jokes, and making people laugh. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his brother, Edward (Leitha) Anthony, of Ford City; four sisters, Debbie (James) McGrady, of Worthington, Kathy (Donald) Stewart, of Fenelton, Deanna Burke and fiancé Dave Neal, of Fenelton, and Mary Anthony, of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and Robert Anthony; and sister, Marian Claypoole. Private graveside services where held at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington.
