Mildred L. (Olinger) Moore, 86, of Kittanning died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at Kittanning Care Center.

She was born on April 8, 1931, in Manor Township to the late Elder and Bertha (Booher) Olinger.

Mildred retired from The Toy Factory in Girard and also enjoyed reading, watching mystery shows, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include grandsons, Cody A. Moore of Erie, Peter S. (Michele) Moore of Kittanning, William (Angie) Moore and Jerry Moore, Jr., all of McKean; granddaughter, Heather Moore of Erie; great-grandson, Therion C. Moore of Kittanning; great-granddaughter, Willow Moore of McKean; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Moore, whom she married April 5, 1950, until he passed away in 2000; son, Jerry Moore; infant son, Larry Moore; brothers, Francis Olinger, Kenneth Olinger, and Roy Olinger; and sister, Sarah Lloyd.

As per Mildred’s wishes there will be no public viewing, a memorial dinner will be held in her honor on Sept. 10, 2017, at 3 p.m. at the Manorville Methodist Church for family and friends. Private interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington. Arrangements are under the care of the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning.
