Nancy Jane (Slagle) Sabo, 80, of Utah, formerly of Templeton, died Monday, May 21, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born April 10, 1938, in Templeton, to the late Jared and Grace (Keesey) Slagle. She retired from Hill Air Force Base in Utah. She formerly attended the Presbyterian Church in NuMine. Nancy liked fishing, hunting, camping, and gambling.
Survivors include daughters, Dianna Nielsen, of Pleasant View, Utah; Rose Warren, of Sunset, Utah; and Jane (Bill) Laub, of Willard, Utah; four grandchildren, Jessica Sabo, Candice (Josh) Hinds, Caprice Martin, and Nigel (Serena) Martinez; six great-grandchildren, Dexter, Hunter, Amaya, Oliver, Gage, and Louis; brother, Earl (Delores) Slagle, of Templeton; and sister, Virginia Milliken, of Chicora. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Retired U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Louis Steve Sabo, who passed away July 17, 2017; three sisters; eight brothers; grandson, Garret Nielsen; and granddaughter, Stephanie Palmer. Friends will be received from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. A funeral service will be held in Utah at a later date. Interment will be in Willard Cemetery in Utah.
