Rod & Robin, my husband, Terry, is a member of the American Legion and shot the rifle as a salute to your son's sacrifice for our country. He came home & was pretty shaken because he said the man was only 38 years old. We, too, lost our son, Gregory Bish , in 2010 in a terrible work accident. So, when a veteran is so young, it.deeply touches both of our hearts. We know the pain of losing our son....your son. Remember, grief has no destination, it is a long painful journey we all travel at our own pace. There is nothing we can say but wake up each day and try to live it as best as you can. We left our email address if you would like to contact us. We would be honored to meet with you to share stories of your son. Just someone outside your circle to talk to & share, cry, laugh, whatever you wish. Please reach out. Our most sincere sympathy to you both and your family. Terry & Kim Bish

We understood your struggle my dearest nephew, Nate. If all the Love for You and heartfelt Prayers prayed for you could have saved you, You would still be with us -- our brave Wounded Warrior. The Lord God did answer our prayers for your safety and well being during the two tours you served the United States of America and He brought you safely home to us and you were able to see your precious daughter grow into a beautiful young lady . Brooke was so proud of you. She would tell people her dad worked for the President of the United States! I will remember your kind and sensitive heart you had for others. We can never repay you for your sacrifice but with God's help hope to bring honor to you in all we say and how we live our lives. We are so sorry for your pain. You will always be remembered Brave One with love, fondest and beautiful memories of the times we had as a family: at holidays, celebrating your "August" birthday with Grandpa Buck and Uncle Lee, "Sunnyside" camping and fishing and, of course, as my litter pickup sidekick! THANK YOU PRECIOUS CHILD OF GOD! To my lovely niece, Brooke, I see you making your father proud in all you do- You set your bar high! To my dear sister, Robin, and brother-in-law, Rod, there are no words that I can express to soften your sorrow as no one can know or understand your pain unless they have experienced the loss of their child -- We Love You Guys --- Thank you!
