Raymond M. “Sonny” Williams, 76, of Adrian, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Kittanning Care Center.

He was born Jan. 8, 1941, in New Castle, Pa., to the late Raymond L. and Mildred (Slick) Williams.

Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He attended the Reesedale Church of God, and was also a member of the Cowansville American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time on the river. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson.

He is survived by; his wife of 46 years, Linda (Woods) Williams of Adrian; daughter Tammy (Steve) Hannah of Houston, Texas; son Christopher (Heather) Williams of Adrian; granddaughters Paige and Hannah Williams of Adrian, grandson Cole Williams of Adrian; grandson Caleb Hannah of Houston; great-grandson Jacob Williams of Adrian; and sisters Mary Lou (Bruce) McCurley, Sharon (Jim) Rozzi, and Faith Williams.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Jan. 2, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home at 200 S. McKean Street in Kittanning Borough. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 3, 2018 in the funeral home, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, with Dr. Ronald G. Shafer officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
