May he always have one gobble back and coming in. He told me once that anyone can shoot a turkey it takes skill to have one gobble and come in, Bob had skill. His best day would start out with a big Tom thundering from the roost as the sun was coming up on cool spring morning the mist rising out of the creek bottom. He was a Godly man who knew Jesus came for him a simple miner. He always felt better in Gods creation and could worship sitting at the base of a oak tree just the same as sitting in a pew. To him the true measure of a man wasn't wealth or success but honor and integrity and hard work. He was a veteran and proud of that. He took care of his tools. He never shot doe unless he really needed to. He was a good father strict but always fair and loving. He loved his wife and respected women. He was a good man the type we should all strive to be like. He was a positive influence in my life and the life of my family. I will miss him.
