Samuel Bowser Obituary

Samuel E. Bowser, 74, of Ford City, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Kittanning Care Center.  He was born August 28, 1943 in Kittanning to the late Hubert and Allene (Bowser) Bowser.  Sam was retired from Securitas, as a security guard, working at Braeburn Steel.  He was a member of the Center Hill Church of the Brethren.  He enjoyed collecting model cars and tractors.  Sam leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Margie Bowser, of Kittanning; brother, Ray W. Bowser and wife, Helen, of Kittanning; sister, Louise Baker and husband, Lenny, of Freeport; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.  Rev. Donald Peters will officiate.  Burial will follow in Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
