Samuel J. Hill, 73, of Kittanning died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kittanning on Sept. 7, 1943, to the late Russell and Florence (Crytzer) Hill. He worked as a shoemaker. Samuel was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning. Survivors include sons, James (Cindy) Hill of Arizona and John Hill of Kittanning; grandsons, Wyatt (Joelle) Hill of Arizona, Jonathan Hill and Jordan Hill, both of Kittanning; granddaughter, Anna Hill of Kittanning; and sister, Sandy (Robert) Deemer of Ford City. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Michael Hill. Services for Samuel will be private and are under the care of Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.
