Sawyer Alan Mathis, of Ford City, was born sleeping on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at 3:06 p.m. in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and measured 22 inches. He had wisps of dark hair and was a spitting image of his father. His cute wide nose resembled his mom’s. His long fingers and big feet have forever made imprints in our heart. “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” – A.A. Milne
Sawyer is survived by his mother and father, Leah and James Mathis; his grandparents, Scott and Denise Walter, Denise Mathis, Lynn Durick; and his uncles and aunts, Brad and Lindsay Walter, Matt and Lindsay Holmes.
There will be a private funeral service. Condolences may be sent to the parents at 204 Fairground Road, Ford City, Pa. 16226. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at ACMH for their efforts, dedication, and support. At this time of our loss our hearts weigh heavy but we hold close to the promises found at Matthew 11:5 and Luke 18:27.
