Shirley J. Heckman, 89, of Dalton, Georgia, formerly of Kittanning, died Friday, May 18, 2018, at Regency Park Assisted Living in Dalton, Ga.
She was born Dec. 17, 1928, to the late Robert and Marie Shuster.
Survivors include sons, Larry (Sharon Kay) Heckman, of Cohutta, Ga., Tim (Noel) Heckman, of Wolfeboro, N.H., Jerry (Barbara) Heckman, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Terry (Diane) Heckman, of Phoenix, Ariz.; granddaughter, Ashley Heckman, of Littleton, Colo.; grandsons, Christopher Heckman, of Culvert City, Calif.; Zachary Heckman, of Calhoun, Ga.; Damon Heckman Religa, of Ford City; and Matthew Heckman, of Wolfeboro, N.H. granddaughter, Brittany Heckman, also of Wolfeboro, N.H. grandson, Jessie Heckman, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; granddaughter, Amanda Heckman, also of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandson, Tyler Heckman, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and granddaughter, Jennifer Mc- Deovith, also of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Bob Shuster, of Washington, Pa.; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, James Heckman.
Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service with the Rev. Debbie Marshall officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.
