Timothy R. George, 54, of Kittanning, died Friday, April 13, 2018, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1963, in Kittanning, to H. Duane and Mary Jane (Good) George.

He graduated from Ford City High School and Lenape Vo-Tech. Tim worked as a maintenance technician for Alpha Carb Enterprises in Leechburg.

Tim was active in sports all his life. He enjoyed racing gokarts and ATV’s at a younger age.

He met his wife boating on the Allegheny River where they soon would become married.

Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman, and participated in leisure, as well as professional bass fishing tournaments.

He enjoyed watching motocross races and many years of dirt bike riding with his friends.

Tim made trail ride trips across various states through ADV Rider, of which he was a member.

Most of all, he loved his wife of 23 years, Cathy (Goodgasell) George, and his two Labradors, of Kittanning.

Tim is also survived by his mother Mary Jane George of Kittanning; brothers Rod (Jackie) George of Kittanning; Randy (Kim) George of Kittanning; sisters Debra Borchard of Palm Springs, Calif.; Sandra Larocco of Eleria, Ohio; Pam (Nelson) Shaffer of Adrian; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father H. Duane George.

A private funeral service will be held at the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home, in Kittanning, with the Rev. Dennis Howard officiating.

Donations may be made in Tim’s name to: Orphans of the Storm, which is a no kill shelter for pets located at 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, Pa, 16201, or online at: orphansofthestorm-pa.org/donate wish-list.

Cathy George would like to give special thanks to all their family members and Tim’s friends who have been so supportive during this time. She would also wish to thank the first responders of the Manor Township Police Department, Kittanning Hose Company No. 6, and Kittanning Ambulance who came to my home to assist.
