Timothy Michael Petras, 56, of Ford City, died on Sunday Nov. 11, 2018, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born Nov. 11, 1962, in Kittanning, to the late Donald C. and Sandra L. (McCarthy) Petras.
Tim was a self-employed truck driver and was also a member of Appleby Manor Memorial Presbyterian Church.
He enjoyed going to “Camp Esquire” in Mix Run, and loved his family especially his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and hunting.
Tim leaves behind to cherish his memory brother, David (Diane) Petras, of Ford City; sister, Barbara (Bob Shaul) Emmonds, of Ford City; sister in-law, Sheila Petras Thall, of Apollo; nephew, Joshua Petras, of Chicago; nephew, Jacob (Marlee Atwood) Petras, of Ford City; nephew, Tyce Petras, of Apollo; niece, Kaitlin Emmonds, of Virginia Beach, Va.; niece, Brooke Emmonds, of Charleston, S.C.; and great-niece, Kamryn Petras, of Ford City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Michael J. Petras.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Additional viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with his church pastor, the Rev. Marty Neal, officiating. Burial will be in Ford City Cemetery.
