Twila Eleanor (Delp) Painter John, 83, of Kittanning, went to eternal peace and rest on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Belair Health & Rehabilitation in Lower Burrell while under hospice care.
Twila is now residing healthy and happily in heaven with her two husbands, Charles Norman “Joe” Painter and Harry Paul John, along with her two daughters, Reba Dawn Starr and Tammy Lynn Cater.
She was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Kittanning, to the late Frank and Bessie (Wolfe) Delp. She was a cook. She attended First Baptist Church in California. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.
Twila leaves behind three children, Daniel (Joyce) Painter, Julie Iretta Dominguez, and Jamie Louise Painter John, all of Vandergrift; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. All will miss her more than words can express.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. Friday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, at 200 S. McKean
St., Kittanning, with the Rev. David Croyle officiating.
At Twila’s request, she will be laid to rest beside her first husband, “Joe”, at Kittanning Cemetery. There will be no graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Twila’s honor to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), at 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, N.Y., 10004.
