Violet Irene (Eddinger) Anthony, 95, of Kittanning, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing in Kittanning.
She was born April 11, 1923, in Rimersburg, Pa., to the late Roy Eddinger.
Violet was a homemaker and member of the Center Hill Church of the Brethren, and the West Kittanning Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by: three sons, Kenneth Anthony, of Ford City, Harold Anthony, of Kittanning, and Richard Anthony, of Kittanning; a daughter, Connie Klingler, of Kittanning; a sister, Sue Mc- Coy, of Dayton, Ohio; and 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Violet was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward L. Anthony; sister, Betty Mortimer; and brothers, Lyle, Carl, and Dale Eddinger.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, Pa.
Additional viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wes Berkebile officiating. Burial will follow in Lawsingham Cemetery.
