Anna C. (Vicini) Jones

Anna C. (Vicini) Jones, 90, of West Kittanning, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at her daughter's home.  She was born October 3, 1934 in Kittanning to the late Donato and Catherine Vicini, and resided in the community for 63 years.  Anna was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for over 50 years as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at West Kittanning Fire Department for many years.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, watching cooking shows on television, playing BINGO and volunteering.  She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her daughters, Sue George, of Kittanning, Linda Yurcon, of Pittsburgh and Barb (Mike) Hayes, of Apollo; grandchildren, Michael (Kristin) George, of Valencia and Alexis Yurcon, of Pittsburgh; and great-grandchildren, Austin and Charlotte George, of Valencia.  In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jones; brother, John Vicini, and infant brother, Sandro Vicini; and son-in-law, Richard George.  Funeral services were privately held by the family at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning with The Reverend Juanito G. Lozano as celebrant.  Interment is in St. Mary Cemetery in Yatesboro, Pa.
