Avis Smith Obituary

Avis J. Smith, 73, of McGrann, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Westmoreland County, a daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Montgomery. Left behind to cherish her memory includes her children, Nadine (Dave) Rosenberger, Kristyl Doody, and Alex Smith; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mert Waltenbaugh and Sally Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Charlotte Reedy, Chris Ion, and Peggy Crissman; brother, Robert Montgomery Jr.; and great-grandchild, Xavier Milligan. Arrangements are private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
