Barbara Jeanne (Kaufman/Beham) Bowser, 83, of Cowansville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, February 20, 2025 surrounded by her family at home. She was born in Cowansville on July 14, 1941, daughter of the late Arthur and Nelda Kaufman. She attended Crisswell Bible Baptist Church. She was first and foremost a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always loved to sew, often making clothes for her kids when they were little and she even made her daughters prom dress and Laurie's wedding dress. She loved to garden and can all the fruits and vegetables to feed her family. She loved going to their camp in Benezette and watching the elk, especially "Big Fred". She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in her church choir. She also loved word puzzles, watching the birds in her backyard and she loved her kitty cats, Tom, Junior and Poo. Left behind to forever cherish her memory includes her husband, William Bowser, of Cowansville; her daughters: Karen (Steve) Lash, Debbie Beham and Laurie Beham; sons, Frank Beham (Kim), Roy Beham (Jackie) and Jeff (Michelle) Beham; step-children, Ken (Theresa) Bowser, Fred (Lisa) Bowser, Lynn (Ash) Stull, Becky (Bert) Yough and Shirley (Linda) Bowser; brothers, Pete Kaufman, Joe Kaufman, Jeff Kaufman and John Kaufman; sister, Mary Lou Stitt; sister-in-law, Judy Hawk; brother-in-law, David J. Lash; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Beham (1996); in-laws, James and Genevieve Beham; sister, Judy Lash; infant brother, Chuckie; and step-son, Bill Bowser. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice, Niki, Tammy, Anthony and especially Patty Overlock for her endless patience with mom. Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. with funeral service to immediately follow at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 E. Brady Rd., Cowansville, Pa. with Pastor Paul DeBacco officiating. Interment is private.
