Barbara Jean (Battaglia) Bowser, 79, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday June 7, 2025 at home. She was born February 24, 1946 in Kittanning to the late Wilbert and Ann Battaglia.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Harvest Church in Kittanning and enjoyed crocheting and traveling.
She is survived by her husband Richard Bowser of Kittanning; son David Bowser of Punxsutawney; daughter Diane Bowser and her fiancé Tim Stewart of Sarver; granddaughter Allison and her husband James of Pittsburgh; grandson Zachery and his wife Sidney of Worthington; grandson Michael of Punxsutawney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
Friends will be received on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday June 12, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mike Greiner officiating, with additional visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
