Barry Wayne Crytzer, 74, of Kittanning, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born October 12, 1950 in Kittanning, to the late William James and Evelyn Blanche (Rearick) Crytzer, and was a lifelong resident of the community. Barry was a retired coal miner and contractor. He enjoyed hunting, riding his side-by-side, spending time with his grandchildren and spending time in Cook Forest and Erie, Pa.
He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his wife, Cheryl Crytzer, of Kittanning; daughter, Jennifer (Crytzer) Foster and son-in-law, J.T., of Ford Cliff; daughter, Angella (Crytzer) Komorowski and son-in-law, Jason, of Pittsburgh; daughter, Hannah (Crytzer) McCauley and son-in-law, Lucas, of Dover, DE; grandchildren, Declan Foster, Jacek Komorowski, Channing Hooser, and Jaxon, Trinity, Maddie & Kodah McCauley; and nephew, Steven and Chassie Crytzer, of Jeromesville, OH. Barry is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, of the Kittanning area, along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Asia Crytzer; brother, Randy Crytzer; and sister, Katrin Johns.
Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at KENNEDY & BLODGETT FUNERAL HOME, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Pa. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Kutch officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.
