Betty E. (Crissman) McCaslin, 88, of Worthington, PA died on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at ACMH Hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1934, in Mosgrove, PA, to the late Nathan B. and Cora Mae (Lockhart) Crissman. She was a homemaker, loved gardening, bowling and watching her granddaughters at their various competitions. She was a graduate of Dayton High School, class of 1954. She married her high school sweetheart, Keith. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington.
Betty is survived by her son, Jeffery McCaslin, of Kittanning; daughter, April (Donald) Bowser, of Worthington; granddaughter, Kayla Bowser, of Worthington; two great-granddaughters, Shannon Anthony and Savannah Anthony, of Worthington; brother, Larrie (Barbara) Crissman, of Kittanning; brother-in-law, Max (Sharon) McCaslin, of Rural Valley; sisters-in-law, Cathy McWhorter and Harriet McCaslin, both of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith L. McCaslin; daughter, Pamela Sue McCaslin; brother, Fred Crissman; and sister, Katherine Shoemaker.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, PA. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m., with Pastor William Moser officiating. Burial will be in Cochran Cemetery, Templeton, Pa.
