Blair V. Schawl

Blair V. Schawl, 86, Templeton, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at ACMH Hospital. He was born October 6, 1935 in Templeton to the late William H. and Marie (McKain) Schawl. He was an electrician at Harbison Walker Brick Company. Blair was a member of the Kittanning Free Methodist Church and he owned his own dairy farm. 

He is survived by his wife Geraldine (Grey) Schawl; two sons Ed A. (Pam) Schrenengost of Kittanning and Gary R. (Melissa) Schawl of Templeton; two daughters Denise Smith of Ford City and Marcia (Brent) Spencer of Shippensburg, PA; SISTER Nancy Gouin of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 5 sisters, and 1 grandson. 

Friends will be received on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in the funeral home with additional visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
