Bonnie Jean (Tarr) Buffington

Bonnie Jean Buffington, 90, of Kittanning, passed away Sunday September 1, 2024 at ACMH Hospital. She was born April 13, 1934 in Kittanning to the late Robert Lee and Olive Sybil (Stivison) Tarr.  Bonnie attended the Furnace Run Chapel and enjoyed playing bingo, scratch off tickets, camping, watching birds and animals, watching game shows, Pirates and Steelers games.

She is survived by her daughters Sylvia (Dwane) Koss and Judy (John) Stewart; grandchildren Lacy Tutich, Gretchen Baxendell, and Shawn Cyktich; great grandchildren Amanda McCarthy, Gage, Frank, and Lee Handwork.  Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; great grandson Gage Stevens; 5 sisters, 4 brothers.

A memorial service for Bonnie will be held at the Furnace Run Chapel on Thursday September 12, 2024 at 11:00 A.M., 154 Montgomery Road Kittanning, PA 16201, with Pastor Jimmy Edwards officiating.  The family requests donations be made in Bonnie's memory to the Furnace Run Chapel 154 Montgomery Road, Kittanning, PA 16201.
