Brian Duane Dunkle, 52, of Ford City, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1972 in Butler, Pa., the son of John Earnest Dunkle and Helen Marjorie (Crawford) Anderson. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, as well as being around family and friends. Survivors include his father, Johnnie Dunkle, of Butler; step-father, William T. Anderson, of New Castle; brothers, Kevin (Barb) Dunkle, of Mt. Chestnut and Adam Dunkle, of Butler; sisters, Jamie (Jerry) Kennedy, of Butler and Billie Jo (Dwayne) Coover, of Kittanning; fiancé, Maureen Majors, of Ford City; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (Crawford) Anderson; brother, John Allen Dunkle; maternal grandparents, Helen M. Crawford and Arnold Crawford Sr.; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Dunkle; and brother, Randy Schuller. No services are to be held at this time and interment is private.
