C. Martin "Marty" Johns

C. Martin “Marty” Johns, 70, of Kittanning, Pa. died on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 19, 1953 in Kittanning to Fredrick L. and Vivian J. Johns. He was retired and a USMC veteran, serving during Vietnam. Marty enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the wildlife. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Vivian J. Johns; son, Jansen (Rachel) Wrighter; daughter, Jailene (Joe) Norris; sisters, Bonnie (Ron) McClanahan and Janine (Mike) Wetzell; grandchildren, Jazmen, Hunter, Michael, and Johnathan; and his life partner, Oksun Yu. Marty was preceded in death by his father, Fredrick L. Johns; sister, Patty Rush; and brother, Les Johns.  Friends will be received from noon until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Pa., with Pastor Lori Kline officiating. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
