Carol J. (Fiscus) Wiles

Carol J. (Fiscus) Wiles, 80, formerly of Kittanning, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Corner View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pittsburgh.  She was born on March 23, 1941, in Kittanning, to the late Clair H. and Florence A. (Helfferich) Fiscus.  Carol was a second and third grade teacher at the Fourth Ward School in Kittanning. She enjoyed spending time with her friends from her “Breakfast Club,” and also in the Red Hat Society. She was a proud “Grammy” and loved seeing her grandkids.  Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughter, Amy Wiles, of Palmyra, Pa.; son, J.G. (Michelle) Wiles, of Glenshaw, Pa.; grandkids: Cole James Proper, of Palmyra, Pa. and Cameron James Wiles and Savannah Carol Wiles, of Glenshaw, Pa.; siblings: Lois (Edward) Bish, of Ontario, Ohio, Donald (Valeria) Fiscus, of Butler, Pa. and Bersetta (Owen) Fox, of Worthington, Pa.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Wiles in 2018; siblings, Arthur Thomas Fiscus and two infant twin sisters.  Family and friends of Carol Wiles will be received on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa., from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:30 p.m.  Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
