Carol M. (Kamerer) King, 75, of Cowansville, Pa., died on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. She was born December 4, 1950 in Butler. She was a member of Sherrett United Methodist Church in Cowansville. She formerly worked as a nurse's aide at Sugar Creek Rest, Sunnyview and Wesley Manor. Carol enjoyed being outside, camping and doing crafts. She loved spending time with her family and cat and joking around with people.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her daughter, Tina (Paul) Landgraf, of Chicora; son, Troy King, of East Brady; grandchildren, Bradley Landgraf and partner, Nathaniel, of Beverly, MA, Bret King (Amanda), of Massilon, Ohio, Colby Crawford (Alexis), of East Brady, Samantha Landgraf, of Butler and Jackson Landgraf, of Allison Park; great-grandchildren, Aubree Holbrook, of Massilon, Ohio, Thor King, of Massilon, Ohio, Winslet Landgraf, of Butler and Reynolds Carl King, of Massilon, Ohio; two brothers, Brian Kamerer (Ginger Ann), of Butler and Daniel Kamerer, of Tylersburg; two sisters-in-law, Belinda Hile, of East Brady and Janet Kamerer, of Chicora; her BFF, Deb Aites, of Lucinda and her daughter, Emily Aites; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her cat, "Brownie". Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas R. King; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Douglas E. and Doretha King; two brothers, Gary Kamerer and Terry Kamerer; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Daniel and Elaine Atkinson.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10-11a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 with Memorial Service to immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 E. Brady Rd., Cowansville, Pa. with Pastor Sue Foster officiating.
