Catherine A. (Fair) Cox, 77, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 at Advance Care Center in Butler, Pa. She was born October 27, 1946 in Butler, Pa., the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Daubenspeck) Fair. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Butler, as well as the CB Rangers and the Butler Lion's Club. She drove around clients for the Blind Association. Catherine loved reading, coloring, crafts and doing ceramics. She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory: her husband, Richard E. Cox, of Butler; daughters, Jennifer Cox, of Butler and Tammy Suttie (Angela), of Kittanning; brother, Howard Fair Jr., of Reisterstown, Maryland; grandsons, Joseph Walls and Cody Walls, of Butler; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog, Brownie. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Don Walls Jr. and Scott Walls. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. with Memorial Service to immediately follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001 with Pastor David Janz officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, Pa.
