Clifford H. “Butch” Chestnut, 85, of Kittanning, PA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.  He was born on May 5, 1940 in Kittanning to Clifford “Chip” Chestnut and Mary (Mauthe) Chestnut.  Cliff is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roxann (Hershberger) Chestnut.  He also has 5 children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cliff served in the US Army.  Over the years, he has been very active in his church in various capacities.  He was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying fishing and hunting with both bow and gun. He also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.  Besides his parents, Cliff was predeceased by his sister, Susan Carvell.  He will be missed by many family members and friends.  Viewing will be held at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of a funeral service at noon with Rev. Jeffrey Smith officiating. Interment is in the Bowser Cemetery where there will be no graveside services.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 334 Arch Street, Kittanning, PA 16201 in Cliff’s memory.
