Connie Darlene (Shaw) Grafton

     Connie Darlene (Shaw) Grafton, 70, of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.  She was born May 9, 1951 in Kittanning, a daughter of the late J. Richard and Belva (John) Shaw, and lived in the area all of her life.  She was retired as Branch Manager at NexTier Bank, East in Kittanning.  She was a member of New Life Center in Ford City.  Connie loved spending time with her family very much.  She served her Lord faithfully, having taught Sunday school for many years in her church.  In her younger years, she sang in the church choir and playing the piano in worship services.  Throughout her many struggles with her health she never lost sight of who she was and desired always to love and serve others with the love of Jesus Christ, studying God’s word.  The lives of her family, nieces, nephews, and cousins have all been mightily blessed for having had Connie in their lives.  Left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband, Thomas E. Grafton, of Kittanning; son, Richard T. Grafton, of Butler; several brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Megan E. Grafton; sister, Judy Kay Boyer; and brother, James T. Shaw.  Connie’s wishes were to have a private funeral service, which will be held at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning, with her church pastor, Pastor Craig Riggle, officiating.  Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery, Templeton, Pa.
