Obituary
Dale C. Waugaman, loving husband and father, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the age of 73 of Parkinson’s Disease Dementia.
Dale was born August 16, 1950, in Ford City, Pennsylvania, to the late Cleon and Roxy (Klingensmith) Waugaman. A 1968 graduate of Ford City High School, Dale went on to study at California State College of Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1971.
Dale was drafted and served in the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1974. He was a teacher in the Armstrong School District where he loved teaching woodshop at Kittanning Senior High School for 35 years until his retirement in 2006.
Dale found immense joy in restoring antique tractors (both red and green), landscaping his property with bridges, rock gardens, and a full-sized Fairbanks Morse windmill, bicycling, Egyptian history, and woodworking projects.
Left behind to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Jodi Waugaman; his two children, Angèle (Shawn) Stoebener (Natrona Heights, PA) and Amber Waugaman (Pawlet, VT); brother, Carl (Larena) Waugaman; sister, Joan Lemmon; special nephew, Ben (Cindy) Waugaman; and numerous family and friends.
Dale was predeceased by his parents, father, Cleon in 1974, mother, Roxy in 2010; and his beloved loyal companion, Black Labrador Retriever, Ivy, on September 5, 2023.
