Debra Louise (Stephens) Buffington

Debra Louise (Stephens) Buffington, 69, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Concordia at The Orchard in Butler.  The daughter of the late Roy Rogers Stephens and Margaret Elizabeth (Grates) Stephens, she was born February 9, 1955 in Kittanning, Pa.  Debra worked in Dietary at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.  She attended the Rosston Chapel in Ford City and she enjoyed shopping and eating out.  

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her daughter, Amy Buffington-DiMaio, and her companion, Brad Miller; son, Matthew Buffington; granddaughters, Eva, Mya and Lyla DiMaio and Raylynn, Amari and Jada Buffington; sister, Joan L. Cravenor and companion, Mark Wolfe; her companion, Dave Flick; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Mechling; and sisters, Mayburn Toy and Peggy Delp.

Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m. with funeral service to immediately follow at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. with Pastor Jerry Johns officiating.  Private interment will be in Concord Cemetery in West Sunbury.
