Debra Marie (Saloum) Cousins

Debra Marie (Saloum) Cousins, 68, of Ford City, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, at her residence.  She was born Feb. 23, 1956, in Kittanning, to the late Alfred and Myrtle Patricia (Slagle) Saloum.  Debra was a lifelong resident of the community and retired as the owner and operator of The Pizzaria in Ford City. She was a member of Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ford City. Debra loved bowling, making small chocolate chip cookies, watching Hallmark movies and bowling on T.V. and being with friends playing cards.

She is survived by her two sisters, Denise (Dave) Boarts and Mary Beth Saloum; and numerous aunts and cousins.  Debra was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William H. Cousins, Jr; brother, Alfred David Saloum; and sister, Sophie Michelle Saloum.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., in Kittanning.  Additional viewing will be held from 10-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 718 Fourth Ave., Ford City, with Father Alan Grote as celebrant.  Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.

The family would like to thank the care Debra received from the AHN Home health nurses and VNA Hospice.  In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contributions be made in Debra's honor to one of the following: Four Footed Friends, Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, Progressive Workshop of Armstrong County, or your local volunteer fire department.
